About CIC:

Titulación: Técnico Especialista de Laboratorio de Diagnóstico Clínico  (FP II).

Requisitos:

Persona responsable, con iniciativa y con capacidad de trabajo en equipo.

Imprescindible:

• Experiencia demostrada en trabajo en laboratorio de citometría de flujo durante al menos 5 años.
• Experiencia demostrada en procesamiento de muestras según protocolos EuroFlow (diagnóstico y EMR)
• Trabajo con diferentes tipos de muestras biológicas humanas (médula ósea, sangre, plasma, tejidos sólidos …)
• Experiencia demostrada en manejo, mantenimiento y compensación de citómetros del flujo FACSLyric (12 colores), FACS Canto II (8 colores).
• Experiencia demostrada en análisis de resultados con el software Infinicyt®.
• Gestión de productos fungibles de laboratorio (registro de compras, manejo de stock y previsión de necesidades).
• Creación y Manejo de bases de datos (Access, Excel), tratamiento de textos, y nivel medio de inglés.
• Participación en proyectos de investigación en el área de citometríad de flujo hematológica (se valorarán las publicaciones o comunicaciones que demuestren dicha participación).

Funciones:

Gestion de muestras en laboratorio clínico y de investigación. Mantenimiento y compensación de citómetros de flujo FACSLyric, FACS Canto II, y FACScalibur.

Procesamiento de muestras, adquisición en citómetro, análisis de resultados.

Gestión de productos fungibles de laboratorio.

**OFFER DESCRIPTION: We offer a contract to complete a research work project funded by the EU program H2020. The candidate should be able to perform comprehensive bioinformatic analyses of high throughput sequencing data of human samples and cell lines. Moreover, is expected to complement the genomic analyses with machine learning approaches to identify molecular signatures with prognostic value in breast cancer. The main goal of the project is to understand the mechanisms of resistance to aromatase inhibitors combined with CDK4 inhibitors in cancer, which are the most provided drug treatment in advanced luminal breast cancer patients.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Researcher to join the DNA Damage and Disease lab, headed by Dr Andrew Blackford and funded by Cancer Research UK. The aim of the lab’s research is to understand how DNA double-strand break repair protein complexes are regulated at the molecular level, and to exploit this knowledge for therapeutic benefit.

Like all biological pathways, the cellular DNA damage response is facilitated by a series of protein-protein interactions, but the mechanisms by which DNA repair protein complexes are assembled and regulated by posttranslational modifications are still poorly understood. To address this, the postholder will use a novel systematic approach involving a combination of cutting-edge proteomics, CRISPR-Cas9 gene-editing and cell biology techniques to identify functional peptide motifs and post-translational modifications that mediate crucial protein-protein interactions in the DNA damage response. Successful completion of the project will provide new insights into the underlying mechanisms that control DNA repair and will validate an experimental framework that could readily be applied to investigate other biological pathways relevant to human disease.

In this role, you will work in a team of PhD and postdoctoral researchers, collaborating with researchers from across the University of Oxford’s various technology platforms. You will be responsible for developing and testing your own hypotheses, generating high-quality and reproducible data, participate in dissemination activities and aid in manuscript preparation.

The successful candidate will hold a PhD in cell biology, molecular biology or other relevant field (or be close to completion). They will be highly motivated, ambitious, enthusiastic with strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Previous experience in mammalian cell culture, plasmid design and cloning are also essential requirements of the role, while further experience in biochemistry, bioinformatics, proteomics, lentivirus transduction, CRISPR-Cas9 gene-editing, and/or high- or super-resolution microscopy would be advantageous.

Requisitos:

-            Título de Técnico Superior en Anatomía Patológica y Citología.

Se valorarán otros aspectos:

-            Experiencia acreditable en Banco de Tumores.

-            Experiencia acreditable en puesta en marcha o utilización de protocolos de Patología Molecular.

-            Experiencia laboral previa en un Servicio de Anatomía Patológica.

-            Manejo de aplicaciones informáticas como el Bio-e-Bank

-            Conocimientos de inglés.

Requisitos:

Licenciado/a o graduado/a en Medicina, Farmacia, Biología, Bioquímica, Biotecnología u otra titulación superior en Ciencias Biomédicas o título equivalente, que esté matriculado (o que haya sido admitido) en un programa de doctorado.

Objetivos Específicos:

El candidato/a será responsable del procesamiento demuestras de origen humano (tanto muestras normales de referencia como depacientes con neoplasias hematológicas) para su análisis mediante citometría deflujo multiparamétrica; asimismo, se ocupará de la recogida de datos asociados a las muestras, y almacenamiento y custodia de los remanentes.

Se valorarán otros aspectos:

Experiencia previa en el área de investigación referida. El candidato será responsable de la consecución de estas tareas en el ámbito de la caractetrización fenotípica de células plasmáticas patológicas de sangre periférica y médula ósea de pacientes con gammapatias monoclonales, valorándose la experiencia en el uso de los protocolos EuroFlow.

Salario: 27.300 euros brutos

Titulación: Técnico Especialista de Laboratorio de Análisis y Procesos Básicos (Química) (FP II) // Técnico Superior de Laboratorio de Análisis y Control de Calidad

Requisitos:

Se requiere experiencia demostrable en: cultivos celulares (cultivo de líneas celulares y cultivos primarios de células de médula ósea, técnicas de co-cultivo, diferenciación celular, transfección y transducción de líneas celulares); análisis de viabilidad y muerte celular, técnicas genómicas, qPCR, Western blot, immunofluorescenica…; aislamiento y caracterización de exosomas/vesículas extracelulares. También se requiere el dominio de las técnicas de laboratorio y herramientas informáticas básicas para realizar este tipo de estudios.

Las descritas en el apartado anterior, vinculadas a los proyectos vigentes en el Centro en Red de Medicina Regenerativa y Terapia Celular de Castilla y León.
